Honesty: Our Florida Resiliency Virtue of the Month
Honesty is the foundation of trust and strong character. When children choose truth, even when it’s hard, they show respect, responsibility, and reliability. Being honest tells others, “You can count on me.” At home, share stories about times when honesty was tough but worthwhile. Encourage kids to admit mistakes and learn from them—because honesty isn’t about perfection, it’s about growth. By practicing truthfulness, children build friendships, strengthen family bonds, and create a community where trust is expected and valued.

SCHOOL HAPPENINGS
Spirit Days
Odyssey was buzzing with energy during Spirit Week! The campus came alive with creativity, especially for the hilarious "Teacher-Student Swap" day. We also traveled back in time for a "Y2K Throwback" filled with denim and baggy jerseys, and wrapped up with the epic "Soccer Moms vs. BBQ Dads" showdown. Thanks to everyone who dressed up and made the week so much fun!
AP Environmental Science
In Dr. Caleb's AP Environmental Science class, student are studying Darwin Finches Modeling. As part of their reinforcement activity, each student has been assigned one of the 13 species of Darwin's finches to create clay models of their beaks. This hands-on project not only helps solidify their understanding of adaptive traits in these fascinating birds but also encourages creativity and teamwork.
Marching Band Shines at MPA
The Odyssey Charter Titan Band wrapped up their marching season with an excellent rating at this year’s Music Performance Assessment (MPA)! Their energetic performance of “Count Down to Midnight” showcased months of hard work, dedication, and teamwork. The Titans truly danced the night away, ending on a high note and making their school proud!

Odyssey is excited to host a Robotics Meet on Saturday, November 8th, here in our own Gymnasium. All are welcome to come watch and cheer on the teams!
We are also looking for parent volunteers to help direct visitors on campus. This is a great opportunity to fulfill your volunteer hours.

A huge thank-you goes out to Ms. Browne and the leadership team for organizing such a memorable night. Their creativity and hard work made this year’s Homecoming a true celebration of school spirit, fun, and togetherness!

They volunteered at student created booths for face painting, hair do’s, coloring contests and pumpkin ring toss. They also lent a as hand supporting the other festivities where needed. We see you Musical Theater and AVID students! Way to show your titan pride today!
Staying on Track
