Volunteer Hours for Reading Newsletters
Each time you read a classroom, school, wellness, or system newsletter, your family will get 30 minutes toward the required 18 Parent Volunteer hours (for one student) or 25 hours (for more than one student). The process is simple. Each time you see this QR code, click on the link or log into the code for a quick survey about the article. Your name will be logged by the school office staff for 30 minutes of volunteer hours for each newsletter.

Citizenship: Our Florida Resiliency Virtue of the Month

This September, we’re celebrating Citizenship. By starting with a simple act of kindness for a neighbor and expanding that spirit of service to your community and country, you are truly celebrating what it means to be a citizen. Give it a go!
Music & Mentorship: A Perfect Harmony
The band room is alive with the sound of music! As the beginners are starting their musical journey, several have joined us for morning practice in the band room and are learning from the advanced musicians. It's a wonderful start to a musical year!
AVID College Trip
On Tuesday September 9, 47 Titan scholars traveled to the Brevard County College Fair where universities from all over the US came to share information about their universities. Scores of other Titans arrived at the event with their parents, proving Titans are living their college prep mission. Students shared their information directly with college reps so they could stay in contact as the application period draws near. All in attendance learned things about schools they had never heard of before. Shout out to the amazing chaperones and AVID Site Team who helped make the trip possible!
Media Club / Yearbook
Your help is needed to make our Titan yearbook and newsletters the best they can be! If you have great photos from school events or interesting story ideas, please share them with us. We are looking into starting a media club on Friday mornings, but you don't have to wait to contribute. For now, you can stop by room 242 to share your ideas and photos with Mrs. Oakes, or email them directly to her at oakesj@odysseycharterschool.com. Your contributions are essential to capturing our school's story!
Fastest Fingers Fly
Students in Ms. Mora's Exploring Tech class faced off in a speed competition to see who could type the fastest with the fewest mistakes. Keys clicked, screens lit up, and the pressure was on as classmates raced against the clock. In the end, bragging rights went to these top typists, while everyone walked away with sharper skills.
Strings In Action
Mr. Hoffman's beginning orchestra students are hard at work learning their instruments and hitting all the right notes! They’re busy preparing for their Autumn Concert coming up in December, and the excitement is already building. Stay tuned for more details—we can’t wait for you to hear their progress!
