WHAT'S HAPPENING ON THE ODYSSEY JR/SR CAMPUS?

6th Grade Science

Mr. Curry’s 6th-grade science students experimented and selected what kind of bridge they wanted to build with their paper to stabilize their traveling car with weights.  The more weight the car carried, the stronger the bridge had to offer support. The class could see the “equal and opposite reaction” examples of Newton's 3rd  Law. They also experienced the differences between rolling, sliding, and static friction in this hands-on learning activity.

Prom Night

This year's prom theme was Aurora Borealis.  Staff and students dressed up and gathered at One Oakes for a great night of food, dancing, and a fun selfie booth.  Noreina Flemming was crowned Queen, and the King was Gian Oquendo-Verdejo.

Field Day

Sunshine, laughter, and cheers filled the air as Titans celebrated the end of the school year with a fantastic field day! The energy was contagious as classes competed against each other in a variety of fun games. It was a day of unforgettable memories and smiles all around. A favorite event was the chance to send various members of the admin team to the dunk tank. Mr. Guevara was the king of smack talk but Jamaal Miller was the first to send him into the water!
