Titan Scholars Celebrate AP Success

Titan scholars recently  celebrated our AP student achievements from last year and also this year coming up. As part of Odyssey’s GATEway program, we will have our highest number of AP Capstone diploma recipients this year from the Class of 2027. Congratulation Titan Scholars!!

Reading Between the Lines:  High School ELA

Ms. Burnette's students took a collaborative approach to analyzing the rhetorical situation of a text. Working in two lines and rotating through partners, students discussed rhetorical strategies, the exigence, and the context surrounding the text. The activity encouraged students to explain their thinking, hear multiple perspectives, and strengthen their understanding through discussion with classmates.

Editing Their Future: Commercial Art 4

Students in Mrs. Oakes's tech classes are building real-world video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, learning how to plan, edit, enhance, and produce professional digital media. Throughout the course, students will work toward earning an Adobe industry certification, giving them a valuable credential they can carry into college and the workforce. Programs like Commercial Art are an important part of Career and Technical Education (CTE) at Odyssey, helping students develop practical skills, explore creative careers, and graduate with experience that goes beyond the classroom.
