Send Your Photos For Yearbook!

We are continuing last week's photo challenge with your pets this whole month.

Thank you to everyone who has sent in photos of students / teachers doing homework with their pets. We are extending this a little longer to accept more of your adorable photos.

Photos can be emailed to our yearbook teacher, Mrs. Oakes, at oakesj@odysseycharterschool.com.  Be sure to include the names of the people (and pets) in the photos.. A free yearbook ($55 value) will be donated to  the winner of the best content creator this year! Visit our Yearbook webpage HERE for ordering info and more about the photo challenges.

Band Fundraiser

The Fine Arts Department is partnering with Charleston Wrap to offer you high-quality gift wrap, kitchen, home goods, and over 2,500 other products. Proceeds from each purchase will help support the Odyssey Charter Jr/Sr High Band. No matter the size of your order, you can make a BIG difference!

Your purchase will go towards alleviating travel costs for the Wind Ensemble members to participate in the Southern Star Music Festival in April. This fundraiser has great gifts and gift wrapping for the upcoming holiday season. My personal favorite is the double-sided wrapping paper, two different designs for the price of one!

Sales close on November 20th, with delivery in mid-December.

The campaign doesn’t last long, so please CLICK HERE to go to the online Charleston Wrap fundraiser for the Odyssey Charter Jr/Sr High Band!

Thank you for your support!

Veterans Day Program

The annual Veterans Day Program was held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in the cafe. Thank you to all the Veterans in our Odyssey community.  We are fortunate to live in the home of the free because of the brave.

Thanks to the OPA 5th grade Glee Club and the Jr/Sr Band for their moving performances.

Also, thank you Ms. Amanda Encarnacion, Ms. Valeeria Castro, and  Ms. Marie Cimirro (OPA) for the “Heros Wall” displayed in the café and to Mrs. Julie Oakes for producing this video.

Student Spotlight

Congratulations to Senior, Sarah Brent! She performed a solo cello piece and scored a Superior rating last weekend at the Orchestra Solo and Ensemble.  She was also accepted to the Florida Honors Orchestra.  Way to go, Sarah!

8th grader, Aiden Mirabal, also a cellist, was accepted to play with the Florida All-State Orchestra and made Brevard All-County MS Orchestra.

We are so proud of these Titan musicians!

Bus Announcement

Due to the Walden Blvd closure and increased traffic around Palm Bay, we are adjusting some routes to provide better service for pick-up and drop-off times. Please have your student(s)  at their bus stop at their regularly scheduled time.

Thank you for your support and patience.
