This week's photo challenge is "Pets doing homework."

Take pics of your pets doing homework or studying with you. Photos can be emailed to our yearbook teacher, Mrs. Oakes, at oakesj@odysseycharterschool.com.  Be sure to include the names of the people (and pets) in the photos.. Bus Announcement

Due to the Walden Blvd closure and increased traffic around Palm Bay, we are adjusting some routes to provide better service for pick-up and drop-off times. Please have your student(s)  at their bus stop at their regularly scheduled time.

Congrats Bowlers!


On Tuesday, October 24, 2023,  the girls' and boys' teams participated in Districts.  The boys' team bowled well but didn't make it to the top four to advance to the afternoon.  The girls' team advanced to the afternoon placing in the top four.

Gabby Dancey-Renz took 10th place in the top individual, and Mary Haywood took 2nd. Although the team came up short against Palm Bay High, they placed 3rd overall.

Mary Haywood will be advancing to  States to compete in the individual competition. Great job, Titans!

Band MPA


On October 21, 2023, the Titan Marching Band performed at the 2023 Florida Bandmasters Association District 10 Marching Music Performance Assessment, held at Space Coast Jr/Sr High School. The Titan Marching Band made up of 76 band and color guard students, performed their 2023 show titled “Radio Edit,” which included music from Panic! At The Disco, Holst’s Chorale from “Jupiter,” The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” and The Rolling Stones. 

College and Career Fair

On October 26, 2023, the College and Career Fair was held in the Gym.  Representatives from various universities, colleges, and military branches were available to answer questions about their programs and application process.

Masked Singer Talent Show


The Masked Singer Talent Show will be held on the Eldron Campus on Dec 11th from 6-8PM. Tickets will be sold for $5 during lunch when we get closer to the date. Band Fundraiser


Thursday, November 2nd, the Titan Band will be hosting a “Dine In or To Go” Fundraiser Night at Texas Roadhouse on Malabar Rd from 4:00 – 8:30 pm.

 

10% of any dinner receipt turned into the Odyssey Jr/Sr High Band bucket (located at the host stand)  prior to 8:30 pm will go towards the band program and assist in reducing travel costs for our Wind Ensemble as they travel to Atlanta, GA in April to compete in the Southern Star Music Festival.

Healthy Café

Odyssey’s Healthy Café serves delicious healthy lunches like this one that make a real difference in the lives of our students. Our program sets students up for a lifetime of healthy eating habits.

Robotics

Coding, building, and dreaming big is what's happening in Robotics Club. The teamwork involved is a great way to develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills that can help students prepare for careers in STEM fields.

Ceramics

Students in Mrs. Reilly's Ceramics class are creating beauty from scratch. Ceramics 1 students are learning coil hand building methods and ceramics 2 students are creating organic sculptures.
