Our Commercial Art students have started designing the 23-24 Titan Yearbook. We would love for students and teachers to submit photos / stories that we can feature. If your class is working on a fun project or if you just have photos with your friends we'd love to get them. If you have had a personal accomplishment you'd like to share, we'd love to feature a story about you as well.

Check here weekly for new ideas and page themes that we will post. Photos can be emailed to Mrs. Oakes at oakesj@odysseycharterschool.com.

WHAT'S HAPPENING ON THE ODYSSEY JR/SR CAMPUS?

Getting Cellular

Mr. Curry's middle school science class is getting a closer look at the building blocks of life and a deeper understanding of how living things work by having a Q&A about DNA, ribosomes, cytoskeletons and mitochondria.

Spreadsheet Savvy

Students in Mr. Layfield's DIT class are really "excelling" in life and gaining valuable skills that will benefit them in their future careers by learning how to use spreadsheets to organize and analyze data.

Peer Reviews

Commercial Art students critiqued their fellow students' most recent graphic design project which was to design a company brochure or menu for a restaurant. Peer reviews are a valuable professional development experience for both the creators and reviewers.

AVID Tutorials

Preparing for college study groups,  AVID students held their first ever tutorials. Students did a fantastic job narrowing their point of confusion, presenting those to the group and working with resources to solve their questions. Several cross aged tutors provided support to our students grades 7-10. Students studies all math subjects, civics, middle school science, biology and chemistry. Way to go, Titan Scholars!
