Assemblies

On Friday, students participated in a special event hosted by Tied Together of the Space Coast and Junior Achievement of the Space Coast's GLOW program.

Tied Together was founded in 2014, and its goal is to teach young men the importance of positive self-image and self-worth.  Our Titan boys attended this assembly and learned the basic skills of being a gentleman and how to tie a tie.

Junior Achievement's GLOW program stands for "Get it. Learn it. Own it. Want it.”  Our Titan girls attended this assembly hosted by three female STEM professionals who shared their stories and answered students' questions about their career paths in order to inspire, encourage, and guide young women as they make career decisions.

Class of 2023
Senior Spotlight

Manuel Garcia

Manuel Garcia has attended Odyssey since his Junior year and says he will miss all his friends because OCS has been like a second home. His favorite teacher is Dr. Grimaldi because he managed to make physics fun.  Manuel loves traveling and has lived in Italy for three years where he had the honor of exploring Europe’s history and culture first-hand. After graduation, he will attend Pennsylvania State University and major in Biology.  He then plans to go to medical school and become an anesthesiologist.

Ky’rese King

Ky’rese King has attended Odyssey Charter School for five years.  He likes to play basketball and baseball. His favorite Senior memory is Senior Skip Day because he spent the day with Daniel, Alini, and Julian.  He will miss all his friends and teachers, especially Ms. Amanda and Ms. Burke. In the future, he hopes to attend college and major in accounting.

Nicholas Makos

Nicholas Makos has attended Odyssey for the past five years.  He enjoys making animation and 3D art.  His favorite teacher is Mrs. Oakes because she allows students to be creative and work independently. Nicholas hopes to go to college, get a stable job, and own a house in the future.
