Community in Motion: The 5K Wellness Walk & Run
Last Saturday, April 18th, the Odyssey Wyoming Dr. Campus was transformed into a sea of energy and community spirit for our 5K Wellness Walk & Run. It was a beautiful morning to see students, staff, and families hitting the pavement together!
More than just a race, this event was a celebration of our shared commitment to health and vitality. Whether participants were sprinting for a personal record or enjoying a steady six-mile march to collect their steps, the atmosphere was filled with encouragement and high-fives. It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful we are when we move together toward a common goal.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support wellness and make the morning so vibrant. Let’s keep that momentum going as we head into the final stretch of the school year!

Field Day
This year’s Field Day was a total splash! The field was transformed into a water-filled wonderland featuring a massive slip and slide, inflatable obstacle courses, and a dunk tank that saw many of our brave teachers take the plunge. It was an unforgettable day of school spirit, soaked sneakers, and nonstop smiles.
Earth Day In Action
Our Titans are leading the charge for a greener future! Dr. Caleb’s students recently showcased a series of impactful Earth Day displays, combining research and creativity to tackle global ecological challenges. Key student projects included:
Ocean & Plastic Pollution: Highlighting the urgent need for marine conservation and waste reduction.
Solar Energy: Demonstrating renewable technology with a functional Solar Oven.
Wildlife & Habitat: Spreading awareness for the Endangered Red Panda.
Global Ecosystems: Analyzing the environmental effects of the Three Gorges Dam.
Clean Living: Educating peers on Air Pollution, recycling, and community trash cleanup.
We are incredibly proud of these young advocates for their dedication to environmental stewardship and awareness!
Poetry Slam!
On Friday, April 17th, our titans competed in the first-ever Titan Poetry Slam. Students were charged with creating original poetry and competing against each other for a prize. In first place was Benjamin (7th grade), in second place was Erik (10th grade), and in third place was Cammy (8th grade). Please congratulate these students when you see them!

Final Sprints
Check out these highlights from our final regular-season track meet! It’s been an incredible run, defined not just by personal bests, but by the Titan spirit.
Our athletes haven't just spent the season pushing each other to excel; they’ve also built great sportsmanship and new friendships with competitors from across the league. Now, the hard work is paying off—the majority of our team has qualified to keep the momentum going at the District Meet!
Go Titans!
Final Art Show of the Year
If you didn't get a chance to go to the Eau Gallie Civic Center to see the Brevard Public Schools final art show of the year last week, then check out this link to see all of our talented Titans and other art from local schools.

Academic Boot Camps
Our campus was buzzing on Saturday as dedicated students showed up for Boot Camps, sharpening their skills and building confidence ahead of state testing. From focused practice to collaborative problem-solving, these students put in the work and showed what commitment really looks like. We’re proud of their hustle and can’t wait to see it pay off!
Civics Kudos!
Congrats again to Rylee Pierre-Staddad and Nariyah Bent for their super high scores on their mock-trial civics tests!
Free Breakfast
Odyssey Charter School participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. This means breakfast and lunch are completely free for every student, every school day!
There are no forms to fill out, no money needed, and no worries. Your child can simply head to the cafeteria and enjoy a yummy, healthy, made-from-scratch meal to help fuel their bodies and their brains. Á la carte is available to any students who have funds available in their accounts. Prices range from $.50 to $2.50.
We love seeing smiling faces at breakfast and lunch—it truly makes a difference in our students’ day!
If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office or stop by and chat with us anytime.
Thank you for being such an important part of our school family! Any questions, please contact Cindy Chapman, Food Service Director at chapmanc@odysseycharterschool.com.
